I’m Sol Rudd, a developer and founder of BuzzBoost Digital. I work on the code and the design, and on how a product finds its customers. The question I come back to is simple: who needs this, and what will they do with it?
A website often needs more than a set of pages. I build custom WordPress tools and integrations so the people doing the work can edit their content or pass it between systems without rebuilding it by hand.
I also build iOS apps and test on real devices. A useful mobile test is whether you can still reach the next action with the keyboard open. Games and interactive experiments let me explore a different question: can someone learn what to do just by playing?
I use AI to help write and review code, and explore agents and automation for repetitive work. I’m interested in where a developer still needs to check the result or decide whether a tool should act. That question also turns up in my work on application security and defensive tools.
At BuzzBoost, design and digital marketing meet in practical decisions: what to build first, how to explain the offer, and how someone who needs it can find it. I’m interested in learning Rust as I explore more systems programming. Outside work, I’m a dog person.
